Oh yes, yes!! I love reading, and books. I spend hours whenever I visit a bookstore, and usually want to purchase more than I can carry.

i do. there's plenty to read and to look at and examine and explore. and if all that fails, there are plenty of interesting people to look at.

I can spend long times in book shops. Like yesterday, at lunchtime, I started in the basement, moved up to the ground, then first, then second floors. I'd picked up a book in the basement intending to buy it. It then found itself on a shelf on the second floor - exchanged for another book. Yes, I should have taken it back. I think we should all start doing that. Some people will always go to the same sections - lets start cross-fertilising and encourage people to read things they may not normally do!

sure..the local bookstore has a cafe and a starbucks..so..i can pick up a book..plop myself down on a a nice arm chair and munch/read..while the manmade fireplace crackles and warms the room..and the books, are actually display ones..in case someone gets em dirty lol

Yes, me and my family like to go to Books A Million. We used to go to Barnes and Noble but they don't have any comfortable chairs in the kid area, and the staff is way to snooty; as if merely working in a store with books elevates them above the masses.

Not as much as I used to. I like browsing in 2nd hand stores to see what they have...it's cheaper...

I do not “hang out” at book stores. I go in, look around, make a decision to buy something or not, and then leave. I would rather read a book where I feel more comfortable – at home. I have enough books already ( my wife should hear me say that!).

Heck yes. I could spend hours wandering around the selves imagining the things I could I see, imagine, and think about in all those pages. Book stores are so cozy and comfortable. ^.^

Hell yeah. Book stores are fascinating. It's like an amusement park for a nerd (like me!). I could hang out all day in a book store.
