Funny, I never considered grabbing someone else's posterior in a lewd way within the norms of polite societal or businesslike behavior. We must differ in this way, evidently.

People would and do. Sexual harrassment if how the person perceives the action or words, regardless if the person taking the action or speaking meant harm or not. This is from a workplace perspective. And goosing someone at work would be inappropriate and unprofessional and subject to valid claims of sexual harrassment.
