I need some with help with this virus. i have a folder named '.trash-999' in every drive partition. it contains files like autorun.inf and zhengbo. i can not delete it. i have tried through registry, command prompt. bitdefender,malwarebyte wont detect it

try going to task manager and in process tab close the unidentified programms and then try to delete the files

sounds like you have a worm, is there a vbscript there too? i caught the gedzac virus which was one of those,it just kept on reproducing when you deleted it even my friend (programmer) took it to work and tried with his collegues and failed-i formatted the bastard in the end and was lucky enough to retrieve uninfected stuff. ps i cought mine from clicking on a pic that appeared of avril lavigne

If u want to realy delete the files,first take the ownership of the file.this can be done done by right click on the file properties,select security tab.click on edit tab.Add a user name(ur account name)by clicking Advanced Tab And click on the find now tab.Under the Search results click on the user account and click ok.Give the complete permissions to that user.click apply and click ok.Then u can delete trah-999.If u don't appear that folder again,Add a new folder and rename it .trash-999 and make a folder named Autorun.inf And deny all permission on these folder.If this does n't work mail me at wazy.quinin@gmail.com
