Help answer this question below.
I don't think so.
Why would it be considered?
alot of humans eat meat.. (i don't, im a vegitarian). why not put the cells of the animal to better use then just eating them?
no ofcourse it shouldn't.
No. If it's a life saving measure then go for it. I think PETA would be the only people who would oppose it.
It is already happening. Pig heart valves are sometimes used as an alternative to artificial valves.
My guess? = Only likely by ignorant religious fanatics?
;-)
I say no. My best friend is getting a pig valve in January to repair his heart. It is a preferable option as compared to a mechanical valve or getting sick and dying.
No. My wife had Rheumatic Fever as a teenager as she nearly died from Strep Throat. So MVP is a situation that may require a valve to be replaced. I believe they use the valves from pigs....don't tell my wife she's a vegetarian animal lover.
Not if it works!
yes it should be banned. men is not the master of universe and he does not have any right to kill any innocent animal
Yes, unless pigs can take organs from humans and put it back in the pigs.
No. My grandma owes her life to a pig valve she recently got. If such a procedure was banned, what would be one good reason for banning it?
