I'd say they're more often a kind of beigey colour... I saw a bright green one today. If you saw it, you'd think "Should've gone with the white" too.

Caravans are most often used in warm climates. Most caravans are bright colours (like white) so that they stay cool. Dark colours would absorb the heat and the caravans would become unbearable.

So the paint doesn't fade from the prolonged exposure to the sun, since we all know the people who own the white caravans have garages full of junk that they have to park the caravans in their drive way.

White reflects light so in the summer people who have caravans wont be roasting inside. And to be honest you wouldn't want to see a bright pink caravan driving down the motorway - it would be distracting and could cause accidents.
