if the caliper slide has two bolts. both have to come out
compress after removing. but use the old pad
clamoping on the pistion can crack it
use a pry bar to GENTLY lift the caliper off the rotor
ONLY COMPRESS ONE SIDE AT A TIME, MEANING DON'T TAKE OFF BOTH CALIPERS AT ONCE

You're reading 2006 ford taurus front brake pad replacement. Remove entire caliper? One or two pins? or does it slide up like '05 after removing one caliper pin? Need to compress with c-clamp prior to removal/moving?
