I was in the SE corner of Kansas ... Coffeeville .... in summer 1957. We stopped to visit one of my father's old WW11 Army buddies. I've heard it's really corny in August, but don't know for sure because we were there in either June or July. Really, is there anything more "the matter" with Kansas than with any other state? Like the song said, "Be true to your school!" ..... I mean, your state!
