I'm in the minority here. I love my current SO and enjoy taking care of him, but the first cut is the deepest. That isn't to say that I'd ever reunite with my ex, because he was a self-centered, cold-hearted person. And yet I still love him in spite of that. I have tried to forget him, but every time I think I've succeeded, the memories come back.
