I find it ironic, that everyone feels such a strong need to place blame, and offers no solutions to the problem. No single President has/had enough power to cause or alleviate this problem within their maximum of two terms. . Most people who play the "blame-game" don't understand the convoluted mess that is US economy. Changes have to occur at both the highest and lowest levels in order to force economic stimulation.

Gene H, If you don't like the way public schools are spending their budget and want them to spend more on band uniforms and less on computers then why don't you vote for the voucher system? That way you can send your kid to a school that values your priorities. You might even find one that teaches your own slant of distorted history.
