What I once did was I suprised my partner by setting up a little picnic in our lounge room at night, with a nice sheet and pillows to sit on, champaine, candles and of course a nice cooked meal. It was so romantic!

Go to historical places and take in the brilliance of what was once there and how life was before everything got so complicated. Also, there is nothing better than sitting outside with a bottle of wine/favorite liquor and looking at the stars.
