  • I think you are more qualified to answer this. Infact I m curious what you would say but my answer is If youhave tried all avenues and in the end there is no love left OR if the relationship has become abusive.
  • I have just done this. I have been very unhappy for over 8 years in this relationship, but always thought I had to stay to avoid breaking up the happy home, my partner and daughter. However, it's affected my health, mentally and physically, and after a bit of a wake up call this year, I've realised that I can't make anyone else happy unless I'm happy myself. So that's it, I'm (we're!) moving out. I'm also kicking myself for not doing it years ago, but that's a pointless exercise. So my answer would be as soon as you feel that enough is enough; and feel strong enough to make the break (because it's not easy). If it's your own relationship you're asking about, best of luck. It'll all be worth it in the end.
  • I know when "it's over"...when there is nothing left/no emotion one way or the other. That happens for a variety of reasons but once I'm there I'm gone. Happy Sunday! :)
  • When you feel there is no understanding in the relationship. When one or the other continues to disrespect or toss aside the emotions of the other.
  • when ever the individuel wants to finish it! usually when they have had enough? some people dont wait long some drug it out and suffer...........please dont suffer I hate the thought of people suffering.
  • When there is no other alternative and when there is no hope. +5
