If u find a red slatwater worm on one of your live rock is it a good thing or a badd thing?

You never know what you'll find growing in live rock but most worms are okay. The only ones that I've heard aren't goods are ones that grow to several feet :)

bad worms are very rare, the ones that are most commonly seen are bristle worms and eat waste in the tank. There are others that look like earthworms and live in the gravel and also eat waste. If you have missing fish or corals it could be a worm but normally is do to a large crab, look into the tank at night with a redlight and see whats in there.you will be amazed at what comes out at night in a home reef tank also check out this guide for more answers http://www.saltwatermethods.com
