  • I have that problem. At age 48 I found out it was called Aspergers Syndrome. My coping mechanism since I was a child was to simply accept that I would have no friends, avoid social situations and just get on with life. +5
  • By remembering that most people feel the same way. Some are just good at covering it up. Think about things you would feel comfortable being asked and ask them. Just never ask yes or no questions. You'll be stuck real easy. Also imagine you are speaking with Abers. When I get nervous I chatter a lot about nonsense and somehow people just think it charming. Go figure. LOL
