These are .mkv files, and will need a player that supports them. I recommend MPlayer: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html They also have a .001 and .002 tagged onto the end. Some applications use these tags to indicate a file that has been split, and needs combined back into a single file. I suspect in this case however that these simply indicate two parts of the video, and the .001 and .002 can just be removed from the file name.
