I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that they come after the first and second orders, but before the fourth.

Third Orders are groups of religious lay people affiliated with a more formal religious community such as a monastery or a convent. They do not necessarily live in this community - they might live a secular life, but follow the teachings and example of the religious body with which they are affiliated. They also do not take the formal religious vows that these other do. The first order is priests, monks, etc. The second is nuns.
