Quite the opposite, actually. I waited a lot longer than you would have guessed given my options and desires, but I wanted to wait until it was "someone special." Then I did, or thought I did, and it turned out that the experieence wasn't nearly as thrilling as I thought it would be (as I was really sexually active, just not having sex); the whole event is so up-played by the mind that I think the first time is disappointing for a lot of people for many reasons.
