Raised body temperature, raised blood pressure, increased awareness of the opposite sex, pregnancy, dancing like a retard, unwarranted attachment to glowsticks.
Short Term Effects:
Immediate side effects include increased heart rate and blood pressure, dehydration, overheating, teeth-grinding, and jaw clenching. Short-term effects include psychological difficulties, including confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, severe anxiety, and paranoia — during and sometimes weeks after taking MDMA, physical symptoms such as muscle tension, nausea, blurred vision, rapid eye movement, faintness, and chills or sweating.
Long Term Effects:
Ecstasy causes long-lasting, possibly permanent, damage to nerve endings in the brain that are critical for thought and memory. It impairs the function and long term production of serotonin, a brain chemical playing a role in regulating mood memory, sleep, and appetite.

The side effects of long-term ecstasy use are just beginning to undergo scientific analysis. In 1998, the National Institute of Mental Health conducted a study of a small group of habitual ecstasy users who were abstaining from use. The study revealed that the abstinent users suffered damage to the neurons in the brain that transmit serotonin, an important biochemical involved in a variety of critical functions including learning, sleep, and integration of emotion. The results of the study indicate that recreational ecstasy users may be at risk of developing permanent brain damage that may manifest itself in depression, anxiety, memory loss, and other neuropsychotic disorders.
a nasty side effect is the crash.
i find there is nothing that makes you feel more hopeless and depressed then a bad suicide tuesday(the tuesday or midweek after a weekend of ecstacy use when your ceratonin* or basically your brains happy juice is running low)
Mostly is the crash or "E-tarded" the day after your roll, i find that taking a shower right when i get up cures most of that
Death.
