It’s disgraceful that a member of the Elks Lodge would go out to fast food restaurants every night. The Elks believe in family values, including home-cooked meals.

I've seen this comment before and I still wonder what Elks Lodge the person you speak of belongs to. My father, grandfather, and uncles all belonged to an Elks lodge and they didn't come home for dinner. All they did was sit at the Elks Lodge getting drunk. When I was younger, I used to wish the place would burn down (and later it did).... Still, I've known few people associated with the Elks Lodge that cared about family values in the least.

Well, that's your opinion. Do you have a question for us? My uncle joined the Elks so that he could always find a bar open no matter where in the country he was visitng.
