    Grammy Awards

    The Beatles won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist of 1964. They went on to win Song of the Year in 1966 for "Michelle" and Album of the Year and Album Cover of the Year in 1967 for "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" as well as many more as the years passed.

    Lifetime Achievement Award

    Paul McCartney was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award Grammy in 1989. The next year, John Lennon was posthumously given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

    National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Grammy Hall of Fame

    Ten of the Beatles' albums and singles have been awarded The Recording Academy Hall of Fame Award, including the album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," and the songs "Eleanor Rigby" and "Help."

    Academy Awards

    In 1970, the Beatles won the Best Original Song Score Oscar for "Let it Be." They were nominated in the category of Best Story and Screenplay Written Directly For the Screen for "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 but did not win.

    Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame

    In 1988, the Beatles were inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison were inducted individually in 1994, 1999 and 2004 respectively.
