- Unfortunately We do to. We have an old Oak Tree. The city does not aloud their removal. I like them but the Acorns are currently all over my Deck. Old Trees new house.

Chestnut. And, if it falls with the shell intact, you had better watch out. That is a really sharp spiny shell. :)

- Our squirrels are really interested in them, but don't move them because of the sharp porcupine type quills. I'm sure they will take the nuts that are inside when they are released.

Three rambunctious raccoon babies who came invading our back patio one night while we were sleeping outside :-) I guess they didn't expect us to be there and it was such a shock they feel out of the tree branch trying to catch up to their mother LOL!!
