Should Christians renounce God, and worship beer as the new messiah?

Beer is delicious, and I regulary spend many Saturday nights in its worship. However, I find it unlikely that Christians will be willing to worship something tangible in place of an intangible perfect being. Even if it is perfectly delicious....
