Mormon theology isn't Christian, but there are certainly many Mormons who are disciples of Christ.

I personally view Mormonism as a denomination Christianity. I am aware that many people disagree on this, though i have never understood entirely why.

I think the only "Christians" that need to worry about their "Christianity" are the ones constantly accusing others of not being Christian.

They talk more about Joseph Smith than they do Christ. Shouldnt you at least talk more about Christ than your founder to be considered Christian?

SHORT ANSWER: No LONG ANSWER: "The Bible is not the real source of authority for LDS teaching, since they also have a number of other documents which contradict it and which they follow above the Bible teachings. The "Christ" which Mormons mention is most definitely not the Lord Jesus Christ mentioned in the Bible. While Mormons certainly use Jesus' name, they do not follow the Jesus which Christians have always followed. In addition to the different scriptures, source of authority, and different Christ as mentioned above there are other additional major differences between the LDS teaching and Christianity. * Different definition of God * Different definition of man * Belief in many gods (polytheism) verses the one true God of the Bible and Christianity (monotheism) * Different definition of the 'trinity' which is radically different to the Christian/Biblical concept * Denial of the Virgin Birth of Christ * Radically different doctrine of Salvation, including denial of the blood atonement and belief in an incomplete atonement. * Different Eschatology (end times) * Radically different doctrine of the Fall into sin * Radically different History * Different attitude toward 'Race'. Most of these doctrines are essential and central to the Christian faith and so the LDS church does not have the right to call its followers Christian, as they do not adhere to Christian doctrine but to their own. One ought not to doubt their sincerity in believing what they do, it just is not Christian and ought not to be called so." (source = http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Are_Mormons_Christians)
