I live two hours from Memphis, so gotta say Elvis. My dad would play his Elvis records alot, and in third grade we had a field trip to Graceland! lol.

I enjoy the music of both and they are both still influential figures. However, Elvis Presley was utterly and absolutely unique back in the 1950s and he was almost single-handedly responsible for a revolution in music for young people, who had never had a genre of music to themselves before. Good as he was, Bob Marley can never be considered to have started a revolution, so there's only one answer to this question - The King!

Bob Marley WAS THEE Revolution of Reggae and political oppression in Jamaica. He WAS the voice of the People! Bob Never wanted to be involved with politics, be he Was a HUGE political figure in Jamaica. Elvis was only wanting fame and fortune through music. He did nothing for the people. He may have been a huge influence on the music Industry, but it still fails in comparison to the movement Bob Marley created. Bob Marley all the way!

That depends what you like. If you like reggae Elvis would not come into the picture.
