• I always tell myself that the extra money this pay rise/new job will give me I will save because my current lifestyle doesn't require the extra money. NEVER happens like that though.

• i am working full time.
  I am an exeecutive assistant with business administration certificate III. and have had three years experience.
  eveyr one else i know is on about $23 and hour in my same situation. I am being paid 16!
  i haev asked for a pay rise they said no. they now know i am looking for work else where. unless they want to up skill me and pay me more.
  becuase on that amount i pay my house payment, my car payment and that is it!
  sucks big time man ;p

• S**t $15k is the min in most states in the US
  From a stand point of many low wage workers in the US your gettin PAID
  Average blue collar is around $45K-$55k
  
  Anyone know what a department manager in manufacturing, with an education level between an AS and BS degree in engineering makes on avg. in AUS??

  maybe I'm come for a vist anyway
  There has been a push to make a federal min wage in the US
  on welfare you get about $12-13K
  you can make it alright on $20-25k
  there is a huge difference between laborers and skilled labor
  A production worker (machine operator) makes between $7-$15 per hr
  A certified maintenace tech makes between $28 -$40
