I used to take people to Sebastiani in Sonoma and just make a day of it there with the cheese factory, fort, and eating places. The winery was the centerpoint though. I have never been on a tour of more than one winery in a day, but that has been enjoyable.

Yes, many.

Plenty. The maternity ward always has crying babies in them. Ooops! That would be whinery tour.

About 3 times in my life. I loved that mead wine sample they had. Oh, so delicious. I bought a bottle of it because of the tour.

Yeah and they are a lot of fun... especially the tasing afterward! http://www.millbrookwine.com/ http://www.brotherhoodwinery.net/pages/ Brotherhood is a LOT less spectacular than Millbrook. Millbrook has just ACRES of vineyards while Brotherhood has none, they only ferment there but it's a good beginner tour. The staff is very nice.

If memory serves, yes. I think as a very young child, don't they make it in large almost room sized barrels that the workers have to crawl into a very small hole to clean. If so I think they let me crawl inside one. Pretty cool!

Yes, I used to live in a winery area in central California. We used to also have a flatbed truck that we would take people from winery to winery on a hay ride. It was great fun :-)

Just getting into the wine thing myself. So far I like the Pinot Noir over the cabernett and Marelot.Alot of trying still to come. I think it would be nice to visit a tour. They say red wine is good for the heart so a glass before bed is my new health kick.
-
I do it every year.
-
No. But I did tour the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg Tennessee, once.
-
Not yet, something I plan doing in 2009. There are about 6 wineries not far from where I live. I have been on many brewery tours.
-
No, but I've been on a tour where the people were whining.
-
Yes, several, On my last, my wife and I ended up buying several cases of stuff we liked or thought My Mother-in-Law would like. It was great, followed by a picnic, one of the better date nights last year. Hope this new year is even better.
