to make losers feel cool
-
Because mostly men rap and men like to be in control of women
-
Because the rap culture is highly homophobic and totaly male dominated and oriented. This actually is a trend. Women were called dames around WWII era: not bad Later on they were called broads: not as good Now they're called biyaches: horrible
-
that's a great question lilkanyevel. +3 to you. even i used to wonder why. and no, not all rap songs are mean towards women. and its mostly because, they think dominating women is great and cool. we all should be against such songs, so they would not release any more of such. Do not buy their's. would you do that Lilkanyavel? Have a great Day! God Bless!

Actually thats just a stereotype & a common misconception... Listen to Dear Mama- Tupac You never know- Immortal technique With you mama - Nas and many others like that.
-
Because the guys who write rap used to be very insecure. so they had to be up over women. Now they are just being imitated. anyway, rap is crap.
-
Why should they be exempt?
-
okay, rap is not ALWAYS mean towards women, only in certain kinds of rap, and the women who are hanging themselves on these rappers arent exactly demanding respect. they are stripping down and demeaning THEMSELVES by doing so. they allow these men to talk down to them and call them "bitches" and "hoes", its a two way street.
-
because alot of men who are into that think women are an object to be won, and just something for their enjoyment. :(
-
Because they have nothing else to rap about.
-
2Pac and Notorious BIG are considered the best rappers of all time. 2Pac once said to BIG. If you want to sell records, don't rap for the n*****, rap for the bitches. 'cause the bitches want to buy your records, and n***** want whatever bitches want. It looks like to me that the best selling rap artists of all time aimed their music to the female audiance.

stereotyping...rap always talks about whores and that they are pimps and they can get waht they want..stupid
