... much too cloudy here ... so although I will leave my telescope and camera in their cases, I will walk outside and look up ... I may even bring my small binoculars ...

Couldn't find the link you posted but found in on Nat Geo News. I love to watch meteor showers. Hope the sky is clear. Thank you for the heads up.

I'll be awake before sunrise, so I'll look for it. No moon visible, clear skies and there shouldn't be too much light polution at 5 A.M.

Yes, I hope to be out there. I've heard it will be visible from 1:00am until 5:00am here in Texas. I hope the clouds don't come in.

Wonderful! I'll take a look in the wee hours tonight. I live in a big city but have Lake Ontario in front of me so just maybe the sky will be dark enough for me to glimpse a few. Appreciate the heads up! Note: Leonids this November may be promising as well. http://meteorshowersonline.com/orionids.html Clear dark skies everyone!

Are you up, Midnightoker? It's 5:09am here in Texas and I can only see part of the sky because of the clouds. I couldn't see the meteor shower last night as it stormed heavily last night and we never get rain here, so I couldn't complain. Tell me if you saw the meteors and describe them to me. I know they will be there tomorrow night also, so I'll try again.
