  • Depends on which one your mean. As far as I remember, Apple's average margin on the iPods is about 20%. Of course, they sell them to resellers for somewhat less than you would pay for one. Margins on the cheaper iPods are smaller than on the more expensive ones. The margins on the iPods aren't that big since the disks inside the iPods cost quite a lot. I remember that when the iPod mini came out, an iPod mini would cost less than the disk inside it would cost alone, so people bought minis just to get the disks inside them.
