Grant Palmer points to six sources for the Book of Mormon comprising 75% of the work. The remaining 25% appears to be original. If the book is ancient why was 3/4's of the book’s content from Smith’s time & local culture and well known to him?

Honestly, I don't know who Palmer is, but he seems very critical of the Church. Since we believe that the church is the authorized receptacle of the fullness of Jesus' gospel, and the only authorized body to administer the same, I think that people who go against the church for one reason or another lose much or all of the influence of the Holy Ghost in their lives. For a person without the influence of the Spirit to come up with a theory of Book of Mormon origins puts him and myself at odds, since I consider that the same Spirit that has withdraw from that man has witnessed to me that the Book of Mormon is God's word.
