  • Your drill team will need to have pride. Once they have that they will work for you. You have to be firm and fair in order to gain respect. If your team know that you are working for them, then they will work for you. Look at your own uniform and haircut (If you are male) If you can improve on smartness then insist that everyone does the same. Look at your own school dress code or uniform too. Make sure your shoes sneakers are clean and keep within the guide lines Dig out a new drill routine and maybe practice at the weekend to be the best!!!!! GOOD LUCK SIR OR MAM
  • I have recently gone through a very similar problem. The key in having a successful drill team, is keeping the drama out of the way. If you and another cadet are going through some issues, keep it away from the team. Go behind close doors and fix your problems there. And when you come back out of the room have smiles on your faces. That is the key part. ALWAYS set the example. Your lower classmen look up (or down lol) to you. If you want to not only be successful now but in the future as well keep your upperclassmen in check. Always fix minor problems asap. Get them before they become serious habits. If you need any futher help email back. I will be glad to answer any questions.
