    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

To become a veterinary nurse (known in the United States as either a veterinary technician or veterinary technologist) two to four years of post-secondary education is usually required. Veterinary technicians need to obtain a two-year associate degree, while a four-year bachelor's degree in veterinary technology is required to become a veterinary technologist.
