    Since 1979, parents in China are allowed to have only one child due to China's One-Child Policy. Couples must buy permits to have more than one child.

    It depends...minority tribes in China are allowed to have as many as they want....and there are many minority tribes...the majority (the Hans) are limited to 1 child only.

    a couple can only have 1 child per 5 years or so but if they pay then they can keep that child. i know cuz my parents had to pay for me ^^
