  • yeah the cure is worse than the disease most times.. that stuff for rhematoid arthritis is the scariest.. i would deal with the pain before i chance the side effects... and i don't even have rhematoid arthritis.. thank God
  • Haaaaaaa!
  • lol "May cause death, diarrhea, sore throat and a migraine."
  • Sure would. The medicine will kill you faster then the disease. I like the ones where the side effects are the same as the disease it's treating. How do you know if it's working?
  • "Adverse reactions to prescription and over-the-counter medicines kill more than 100,000 Americans and seriously injure an additional 2.1 million each year, researchers say." CNN http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/9804/14/drug.reaction/
  • yes i do. i mean, what the heck? i'm in bad enough shape. why take a pill for 1 thing and start 5 more?
  • Yes, the side effects almost always sound much worse than the disease.
  • I'll only take medication when I lie in my death bed.
  • Every time. ANd have you ever bothered to read the description of their drug in the magazine they are in? Really scarey. I'm sorry, I'd have to be near deathbed before I'd go their route. There are many other otpions for things I'd try before I'd poison myself with something that can lead to death (for arthritis treatment) or explosive diarrhea (to lose weight)
  • Pharmaceutical ads are the most nauseating, irritating and ludicrous commericals on TV. They are literally trying to force their pills down our throats on every channel. What are these commercial messages trying to tell us anyway? Are we to run immediately to our telephones to call our doctor and demand he give us a prescription for a drug we just saw advertised on TV? Wouldn't our doctors know what drug is best for any condition we might have? And what person is even interested in their product after hearing the horrific side effects these drugs may cause? When I think of the absolute, rip-off cost of medication and medical care in our country, and the mega corporate gazillion of dollars these pharmaceutical companies are making off the "hands-tied-behind-our-back" US citizens, pharmceutical commercials are a fly in the face, absolute, last straw. I protest!
