  • No, bring it on. We all need enlightenment.
  • Not at all. I'd maybe add another category though: is it wrong to ask difficult questions here?
  • We need controversial and provocative here.
  • It's never wrong. Thought-provoking questions make the world go 'round.
  • NO! It is right to ask controversial and provocative questions here. We expect it. We love it. We have heaps of different opinions here, there's bound to be one or two you'll hate and disagree with...
  • Absolutely not, however racism should not be tolerated.
  • Unfortunately some people rate you down if you are controversial but don't let that stop you asking the questions that need to be asked.
  • Ask away..
  • I think that wahtever you need to ask here, this is probably the place.
  • It is a good place to ask controversial questions. But generally they should be asked in a non-provocative way. So "Are there any proven differences between races?" is OK, but "Are niggers inferior?" is definitely off.
  • No, in fact controversial and provocative questions often receive the best answers here because of the strong opinions people hold on them. I would say, in fact, that the BEST questions on answerbag are usually the ones that many people have different contrasting views on because the answers they receive are usually more mixed and interesting. I would say however (like nevets has pointed out) racist questions or anything that could seriously offend or hurt someone by asking it should be avoided.
  • Not at all if you don't care about points and being popular. Just discern the difference between controversial and offensive, for that you will get flagged.
  • Nope because it gets really interesting conversations going
  • I use to believe that answerbag should be limited on questions concerning sex. Then, i thought well, maybe some of the teenagers do not or will not ask their parents very personal questions, but will on answerbag. For that reason, i believe answerbag should be an open forum for questions of a sexual nature. I do not agree on adults asking porno-type questions. But, the constitution affords all of us freedom of speech. So, i skip these type of questions and try to be of service to the teenagers and young adults.
  • Absolutely not! AB was made so people could ask any question they wanted and recieve legite answers/opinions on whatever topic they choose. However, some people seem to think that this idea is completely nutsack and have taken it upon themselves to down-rate people who ask questions they don't apporove of and heck even some they prolly do! But just ignore them and they seem to go away! Now, lets get to those questions!!
  • Apparently not. :) It's not even wrong to spell incorrectly.
