Well first do you smoke? If you do and you smoke menthols theres your answer switch to regular. There are also voice lessons you can take. And as the old saying goes practice makes perfect try to find someone who you would like to sing like, and try to train your voice to follow along, Good Luck.

You could get lessons. Also with the right equipment, you can record and tune your voice to make it sound better and cleaner. I'm a vocalist and in my previous band the other vocalist really um "sucked" but I edited his vox so it sounded decent... but try lessons.. if you can get your voice to get to the right pitches than that would be best.
How can I record my real voice?
I tried my cheap laptop microphone, but i think it does not sounds like me.
Any good voice recorder?

I'm going to college soon and I want a recorder to record the my teacher giving lectures so I can go home later and pick out the key parts instead of trying to jot notes down quickly when I should be listening. Can you recommend a voice recorder?
