Why would someone sign up on Answerbag, and ask if we want to be your friend on myspace, then give out their e-mail? Don't advertise yourself on AB for Myspace. :0/

You are right, depending on how it would be done, it could be considered spamming. For instance, a new user asking on Answerbag a question like: "Who wants to be my friend on MySpace?" could be considered to be spamming. However, a new user asking a question like: "Who wants to be my Answerbag friend?" is just looking for friends on Answerbag and not spamming. Also, if they ask you personally to be their Friend on Myspace on a comment thread, and don't seem to do this systematically, it would not be considered spamming.

Some folks think AB is a "chat room", I think. They just don't get the concept that it's a Question and Answer site.
