Just because something can be used for malicious intent doesn't mean that it should be banned entirely; the vox populi of fireworks users are good, law abiding people of the United States. Likewise banning it will only cause people to purchase them illegally. :S

Fireworks shouldn't be banned cuz people like to watch them and they are fun but if people would stop shooting them at other people and stuff they would be more safer and little kids like fireworks im pretty sure they wouldn't like them to be tooken away or w/e

In some areas, like in places where fire is a danger, especially in the summer time, yes. I Used to live in a place that had very bad fire seasons and yes, it was against the law to set off fireworks in most of the county. But it was okay to sell fireworks in two small towns, for charity (church groups and Boy Scouts). But then people would buy them from there and then use them everyone and we'd always have fires springing up for 2-3 weeks around 4th July. One fire was 30,000 acres.
