Actually i will let my friends do what they wish... i will suggest otherwise... example: Me: hey you shouldnt drive around with a pound of cocaine Friend: Im fine Me: I hope you realize thats a felony if you get caught Friend: I wont get... oh crap police Me: call me when they let you and ill bond you out 3hrs later Friend: collect call from ****** ****** Prison do you accept? Me: yes... Friend: how'd you know it was a felony... ill let u know bout my bond... dont tell my mamma... but call my brother... Me: fine fine... Accepting a collect call.... thats a good friend LMAO

Be ignorant. It is your duty as a friend to inform your friend on subjects on which they are ignorant. Likewise, it is your duty to listen when they speak on subjects that fall within their expertise. Basically, friends don't let friends ignore sound advice.

A real friend won't let you get away with being wrong. A real friend will challenge you to your face instead of badmouthing you behind your back.

I wouldn't let my friend take a beating. I wouldn't let them take the blame for something I'm responsible for. I wouldn't let them cheat on their girlfriends, or do something really immoral (and if I was unable to stop them, I would try to support them however I can). I would do what I could to convince them not to do any drugs as well. If it ever seemed they were getting addicted to something I would physically force them to stop and book them into a rehab clinic.
