Ppl that gossip have no backbone and are easily intimidated.If they had a backbone there would be no gossiping cause they would go straight to the source and handle thier issues.

Gossip in any area,including working area is useless,and causes undue suspicion,and judgement among everyone in the office.

The rumor mill isn't found at agricultural job sites. there are 3 types of people. The lowest are those who talk about others, then there are those who talk about current events and then there are those who talk about great ideas. It's petty and not called for whatsoever.

It's a bad thing but sometimes its fun to speculate about people. I try not to though but I listen quite often.. teehee

Gossip, by definition, is intended to pass rumours and or information about someone behind their backs. Definitely not good.

I fell victim to office gossip just yesterday. I was the one talking, maybe too much. Someone brought up a good point about basically not mixing personal with personnel.
