Slope intercept form... got it! y=mx+b. Thats a big part of it. The slope is whatever is before X, and the Y intercept is whatever is added. If its subtracting, it means that it is actually adding a negative number. The slope is 2, which you can put over 1, to make it 2/1 to put it into the rise/run form. That means that 2 is rise and 1 is run. So the Y intercept and slope should be easy to find, but graphing it will be the way to find your X intercept.

You can figure the intercepts yourself, very easily. Set y = 0 When y=0, then what is x? Now set x = 0 When x=0, then what is y? Those are your x and y intercepts. You can draw the line segment between them and get a sense of your slope. How many x do you move for each y? (As your previous respondent already showed you, it's already in your equation.)
