I find that even though the Republican party is under fire right now, it takes two to blow things into this level of disaster. I remember at 9/11 when it didn't matter what party you were, only that you were an American. I am extremely embarrassed that it took that level of death, sorrow, and destruction to wise up to what was important. And now that everything's back to some level of normalcy, we've forgotten that sacrifice. And just in case you're wondering, I'm an independent voter.
