When entering Items in the lists menu in Quickbooks, how do you decide the type? We sell promotional products and do not track inventory. It isn't a service. I'm not sure what to choose for the type of item.

You're reading How can I create a drop-down list in the rate column of a sales receipt for an inventory item? e.g. in Rock Castle Construction Co. in QB 2004 when an inventory item is entered, there is a choice of a base rate, a commercial rate and a residential rate.
