Does the BNP being forced to accept non-white members make a mockery of their political philosophy?

I am not well versed on politics in England, however I find it hard to see how a political party that is based on strict racial makeup could be effective. as far as the party being forced to accept non white members, I wouldn't understand why a non white would want to join the party in the first place.
