I have experienced it a number of times -- but not days ahead. Once I slammed on my brakes in the car right before a child came down a driveway on a bike into the rode. I know the phone is going to ring way too much of the time. There have many different ocassions. I don't worry about it -- it doesn't hurt anything.

Yes, that's called precognition. It's more ordinary than you might imagine. People seem to have a mechanism whereby those not terribly psychic can get premonitions before events that put their lives in danger. This was the subject of a study in the 1950's on train crashes. Ridership lowered by as much as 50% on days when the trains crashed.
