How hard is it to take care of a ferret?

they get into everything so i would say they are hard to take care of.

Have you ever baby sat a toddler? think of them as furry toddlers. They dig in the plants, dig at the carpet. But anyhow, they need theyre litter changed once every 2-3 days or they will stink. Ferret food is kind of pricey, (but you can get it cheaper online from places like ferret universe or something like that.) a proper ferret cage is at least $100 but if you go through a rescue they will give you a discounted cage Im sure. I got 3 ferrets and a ferret nation cage for $50 from a rescue. And if you dont handle them alot they arent very rewarding pets. The more you handle them the better they get.
