Only if it was someone that I know. I would then return it after the fun was over.

I wouldn't steal it. I might, however move it every day for a couple of weeks. OR move it just a few inches a day for a few weeks, just enough not to be noticed at first... the gnome is running away!

No, but it would be fun to keep moving it closer and closer to the house every night, until it was almost to the door (but not close enough to trip over). spooky.

I might paint it so it looks naked, but I wouldn't steal it.

Of course, its only a garden gnome. This idea of moving them around would probably be a better prank though :)

No. Somebody stole two of mine and I REALLY like them...b*stards! Ah, well, back to home and garden!

My step daughter brought this gnome home painted in her team colours....so we kept burying it in her little garden plot...did awful things like tie rope around it's neck, left plastic knife next to it, a toy gun...we ran out of ideas....
