  • Be nice to others Answer accurately Be generous with points Answerbag frequently
  • The answer would depend on your definition of a "Top Answerbagger". 1) An obvious definition would have to do with the total point amount, and the related level and rank. The usual advice to do this is: ask good questions, give good answers, give good comments, and stay here long enough. This includes, of course, correctness and the respect of other's opinions. There are also some tricks to get more points, such as asking a lot of conversational questions, or doing a lot of flagging. Anyway, I think that if you are just concentrating on points, you will be missing a great part of the fun, and of the other interesting things that you can get. 2) Whichever your amount of points, if you ask good questions, give good answers, give good comments, respect other user's opinions and stay here long enough, you will get some kind of recognition. However, the recognition that you get will depend on what other users are looking for, and this can vary a lot: - accurate information with references - personal antswer from a specialist - what you remember without taking the time to verify - funny answer, to make everyone laugh (except sometimes the asker) - psychological help - just a little chat, a a deep philosophical debatte - tell you that you are right So you could be more popular by some users, and less popular by others.
