Yep.
-
I feel awful for him and his parents, this has to be just terrifying.
-
heavens above! i wonder how far he got?
-
Lucky kid - having an adventure like that will make for a lifetime of memories.
-
Wow- ya, I just read about that. How horrifying, yet morbidly humorous at the same time (hope I don't get DR'ed for saying that). But seriously though, I think I'd have a heart attack if that happened to my son. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33330516/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts?GT1=43001

That's really scary, but as of the time of this post, a spokesperson for the local police claims that evidence indicates that the balloon is now descending, so perhaps it will be on the ground, very soon. +5
-
Yes. The helium in the balloon should contract as the heat goes down in the day. this means the balloon should begin to go lower in altitude.
-
I've been watching and it's really scary to think there is a child in that thing.
-
Are you sure that's not a bunch of hot air? I know kids like balloons, but this is ridiculous.
-
He sure is liveing the life. Hope hes haveing a better time then Im haveing.
-
Watching it on the news now. It is a helium ballon an experimental aircraft. This is so scary. I hope that he will be okay. It is losing Helium and speeding up.
-
I just heard there is NO little Boy in the balloon and it has landed!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God! +5 Spicey. Best, Jonathan
-
Spicy does. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1752880

Not found inside. one or two people are now saying they saw something fall from the balloon as it was in flight. This will be like finding a needle in a haystack, if this was the 6 year old boy.
-
The little guy was not inside the balloon, accrding to CNN's latest news. The boy was thought to be inside it, but is missing, now that they've managed to bring it down. Very, very sad news is upcoming, I'm afraid. My heart is with his family :( +5
-
the latest on MSNBC at 4:00 pm central time they still haven't found him, scary
-
I'm afraid the boy got anxious and bored and just stepped out.
-
The thing landed and he's not in it. Where is he?
-
It is reported the balloon could lift over 100-120 pounds and it was reported that a box was attached to it on the take off point, though no photos were taken of it,it is possible that he was in the box. I hope this is not the case and the child will have to be found to find out the true story.
-
Thank God..crazy kid..crazier dad for letting the kid get near it
-
Hope the scoundrel managed to borrow that Swiss Army Knife off that other 6 year old monkey. You never know when it might come in handy.
-
The news just announced that it landed. The little boy is still missing.
-
What were the parents thinking? Hopefully the boy released the baloon without boarding. And he is now afraid and hiding. _ There was a duplicate question. But I think yours is the original.
-
Someone rescue him!
-
Thank god they found him hiding in the attic :) I was worried.
-
He's been found, safe, hiding at home. http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/15/6-year-old-alone-in-hot-air-balloon-over-colorado/?hp&emc=na
-
Not only do kids say the darndest things but they also do the darndest things.
-
i do now. cool!
-
He was not in the balloon, he was at home hiding in a cardboard box in the attic. All is well.
-
He was found in a box in his attic
-
Will Art Bell believe that this kid is an alien?
-
I watched the drama unfold for two hours on CNN. I'm glad he wasn't inside that balloon.
-
Was that not the craziest story? But after I had heard the family had been on the wife-swapping show (and are into UFOs/aliens), I don't think I'm the only one that thinks there's something fishy about the whole ordeal.
-
No. Hope this helps.
