It's no mistake. Feminists are known for being anti-male because they are.
Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Most feminist seem to want to support a form of feminism that is only slanted to improve the lot of women in certain areas not erasing the line between genders all together. Feminist would not support taking away the Rape Shield Law allowing them to be crossed about their pass sexual history in a rape trial. Changing the law that says if a woman ends up having sex because she drank herself silly but cry rape the next day because of who she ended up gettig sexed up by was someone she did not like. Or having test for fire fighters and was robust enough to assure a person could be saved and allowing those who could pass, man or woman, to become fire fighters and not watering down the test because most women could not pass physically. Feminist seem to want to change only things that give them an advantage but don't want to give up hardly anything that would lessen advantages for women.
Their policies, philosophies, and opinions are extremely anti-male and have been for decades. That might have something to do with it.
Some feminists are very angry with men because of experiences they've had (rape, forced marraige, human trafficking, etc.) However most feminists just want to be treated as = human beings. We don't hate men that treat us with respect and equality.
Because a lot of us do hate men much of the time. We have learned to from years of hurt and degradation.
Because some are. And ones like Andrea Dwarkin get (got?) lots of publicity due to their extreme positions. Moderates may be far more reasonable but rarely as interesting and so get drowned out.

Really, I am in an adcovcy group to educate girls in the Middle East. I pay for my half of dates as well (and some times I hold the door for him). Does that make me Anti-male?

Not necessarily. But, I suspect as a feminist, that's not all their is to your life.

No, of course not. I have a job.

That's good. Although it doesn't change the face and history of feminism.

Or the fact that it is illegal to educate girls in parts of Pakastan and Afghanistan, and girls as young as eight are being married off in Saudi Araba.

I'm with you in spirit in the quest to help females in the ME. Go fight for women's rights where it's needed and stop the feminist misandry in the US.
by Bee on October 16th, 2009
Feminist misandry is making it hard for women in the ME, because the men that are doing this in the ME see these US women and don't want it to happen. These feminest that are doing this need to open their eyes and be greatful for what they have.
