  • You mean difficult to read? I don't see much difference and I've read all four you mentioned. ;-)
  • Of the four books that you've listed in your question, I've only read "Of Mice and Men". Of all the books that I've read, it was the easiest to read.
  • haven't read the great gatsby. But the catcher in the rye is actually very light, at least that's the wya I felt it. It's actually fun to read. Lighter than fahrenheit 451 (haven't read mice and men either)
  • I've read The Great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, and Of Mice and Men, but I have not read The Catcher in the Rye. I believe that all of these books are used in high schools, so they aren't all that difficult. If I remember correctly, The Great Gatsby isn't much more difficult than the other two. The language is a bit more... poetic, and although the vocabulary is more advanced, I don't think it will affect your reading of the book. In my experience, a person either loves or hates The Great Gatsby, but that has more to do with the story than with how difficult it is. It's a short-ish book, so I'd give it a try if I were you. I can't help you out with the Catcher, but I hope this answers your question.
